Subject: Installfest this Sunday April 27th,
ISP Discount for Gnubies and Gnubies organizers meeting.

The monthly installfest will be this Sunday, April 27th. As Always the
most up-to-date information is on our website at
   http://www.gnubies.org or http://www.eskimo.com/~lo/linux
There are plans to continue these installfests on a monthly basis.

You can come with computers to have free software installed, or just come
and watch and have fun.

There are several important things to consider before having GNU/Linux or
other free software installed at an installfest.

Most important - if you have anything you want to save back it up. You
should also check out your hardware.

It is important that you realize that these installfests are just a group
of people helping each other out with installing free software. Neither
the location nor any groups or individuals involved bear any
responsibility for your property or your person.

The ISP where GNUBIES pages can be found -- Eskimo North, is now offering
discounts for GNUBIES members. I have been quite happy with it and since
Gnubies has been there it has gotten more and more GNU/Linux friendly.
Currently they don't have high speed connections, but for dialup (with
shell accounts) etc. it is quite good and the people are great.
